Timothy B. Sottile
Timothy B. Sottile is an experienced litigator and trial attorney with the firm Sottile Baltaxe. Mr. Sottile has utilized his diverse background in complex business and employment litigation to obtain excellent results for his clients in difficult employment cases. Since 1994, Mr. Sottile's practice has focused on employment law.
Mr. Sottile has tried approximately 30 cases to verdict, including several lengthy trials resulting in verdicts in excess of $1 million. He has obtained multiple settlements well in excess of $500,000 on behalf of discrimination plaintiffs. He has handled 100s of employment cases across a wide range, including racial, gender, age and disability discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour cases.
From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Sottile served on the Executive Committee of the California State Bar Labor and Employment Law Section. Mr. Sottile is active in the legal community, and is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Ventura County Bar Association, Ventura County Inns of Courts, and the Italian American Lawyers Association. Mr. Sottile has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
